Kill Extends Open Practices Through Saturday

University of Minnesota football fans will have even more opportunity to see their team up close and personal through the end of this week.

After originally announcing that the first 10 practices of the Gophers' 2011 fall camp would be open to the public, head coach Jerry Kill has extended the open practices through this weekend. A mid-camp scrimmage on August 20 at TCF Bank Stadium will be the final practice to be open to the public.

The University of Minnesota football team reported to campus for fall preseason camp on August 7. The team began practicing on August 8. The following is a look at the remainder of the practices which will be open to the public:

August 17 - 8:50 a.m./4:50 p.m.
August 18 - 3:55 p.m.
August 19 - 8:50 a.m./4:50 p.m.
August 20 - 9:40 a.m. (Scrimmage, TCF Bank Stadium)
