The Minnesota football team begins fall practice on Friday, but Tuesday was a busy day for the Gophers as well. The day began with the seniors participating in a pre-game video shoot. Coach Kill then addressed the media at a noon press conference to preview the upcoming season. Student-athletes Isaac Fruechte, Ra’Shede Hageman, Philip Nelson and Brock Vereen then spoke with the media too.
After all the press conferences were done, every member of the team participated in additional photo and video shoots before having a team meeting.
The Gophers begin spring practice on Friday at 5:15 p.m. That practice will be held at the Gibson-Nagurski Football Complex and will be open to the public.
U Sends Eight To NFL In Last Three Drafts
Minnesota has had eight players drafted in the last three years after having zero picks from 2011-13.
Gophers Headed To NFL
The Gophers had two players – Eric Murray and De’Vondre Campbell – selected in the NFL Draft on Saturday.
