The Big Ten Conference announced Minnesota's 2014 Big Ten home and away schedule today, which finalizes the Gophers' complete 2014 schedule.
Minnesota opens the season against Eastern Illinois at home on Aug. 28 and then hosts Middle Tennessee State on Sept. 6 before traveling to TCU on Sept. 13. The Gophers then complete their non-conference schedule at home on Sept. 20 against San Jose State.
In Big Ten play, the Gophers will host league foes Northwestern (Oct. 11), Purdue (Oct. 18), Iowa (Nov. 8) and Ohio State (Nov. 15). Minnesota will travel to Michigan (Sept. 27), Illinois (Oct. 25), Nebraska (Nov. 22) and Wisconsin (Nov. 29) in Big Ten play.
The Gophers will have two bye weeks in 2014, as they will not play on Oct. 4 or on Nov. 1.
