A few members of the Minnesota football office recently started a team for the Relay for Life in support of football player Connor Cosgrove, who is battling leukemia.
They have named their team GOpher Connor and have organized a fundraiser from 4-7 p.m. on March 14 at Tony’s Diner (1327 SE 4th St., Minneapolis, MN 55414) in Dinkytown.
Patrons who pay $5 at the door during the three-hour span will receive a hamburger and fries and 50% of the profit will benefit Relay for Life. They have set a goal to raise $1,000. If you are unable to make it to Dinkytown, but would still like to support the cause you may make a financial donation here.
