Own a piece of Golden Gopher Football history! For a limited time, Gopher fans can bid on an authentic, game-worn white throwback helmet, worn by a Gopher player during the 2013 Texas Bowl.
These game-used helmets feature the iconic block "M" on the left side and a player number on the right side. They are reminiscent of the style worn by the Golden Gophers during the 1950s and 1960s, when Gopher legends Sandy Stephens, Carl Eller and Bobby Bell played at Memorial Stadium on the U of M campus.
These authentic, game-used helmets are not available in stores, and only a limited amount are up for auction at this time. The auction will run from 6 a.m. on Feb. 5 through midnight on Feb. 12.
To bid, visit http://www.32auctions.com/GopherHelmets.
NOTE: Helmets signed by Jerry Kill all feature the number 1.
