2013 • JUNIOR SEASON: Played in all 13 games and started 11 at safety • led team in tackles with 79 and tied for team lead in solo tackles with 52 • notched two tackles-for-loss and made one interception • forced one fumble and recovered two fumbles • received the school's Richard "Pinky" McNamara Student-Athlete Achievement Award (given to an individual who has inspired all by making an extraordinary effort to succeed despite difficult circumstances, persevering during a time of tremendous adversity and/or overcoming a great challenge) and was one of five NCAA student-athletes to receive the Wilma Rudolph Student Athlete Achievement Award (honors student athletes who have overcome great personal, academic, and/or emotional odds to achieve academic success while participating in intercollegiate athletics). 2011 • FRESHMAN SEASON: Appeared in seven games • recorded 16 tackles (10 solo). Game-by-Game: Played his first career game at Purdue and recorded six tackles • tallied five tackles vs. Nebraska • notched two tackles in 22-21 victory against Iowa • appeared at Michigan State • had two assisted tackles versus Wisconsin and played at Northwestern • recorded a solo tackle in 27-7 win against Illinois.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduate of Calipatria High School • rushed for 1,808 yards and 27 touchdowns on just 157 carries during his senior season • earned first-team All-Pacific League honors on offense following his senior campaign • also recorded 41 tackles, with 34 solo stops, three sacks and four interceptions from his defensive back position in 2010 • rushed for 1,446 yards with 14 scores as a junior, while also making 45 tackles and two interceptions • coached by David Shaw.
