2012 • FRESHMAN SEASON: Appeared in seven games, playing most on special teams • made one tackle on the year, which came against Purdue • earned first varsity letter.

2011: Redshirted.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Miramar High School • helped lead his team to a 7-3 record during his senior season • team advanced to the second round of the Florida Class 6A playoffs during his senior season • recorded 67 tackles, with three interceptions and two forced fumbles for the Patriots in 2010 • tallied 68 tackles and three interceptions as a junior • took part in the Miami Dolphins' Broward-Dade All-Star Game • was listed among the Top 25 players to watch coming into the 2010 season by the South Florida Sun Central • coached by Damon Cogdell.
