2011FRESHMAN SEASON:
Played in eight games with two starts under center saw action in his first collegiate game as a true freshman at USC and responded by nearly leading the Gophers to a fourth-quarter comeback made first career start at quarterback vs. Michigan in Week Five, which was the first time a freshman started at QB for the Gophers since 1984 made his second start under center at Purdue in Week Six finished season 26-of-54 for 309 yards, with two touchdowns and two interceptions.

HIGH SCHOOL:
Graduate of Bishop Miege High School led his team to a 6-4 record last season led Stags to a 12-2 mark and a Kansas Class 4A State Championship as a junior in 2009 two-time Honorable Mention All-Eastern Kansas League selection completed 147-of-277 passes (53.1 percent) last season threw for 2,643 yards, 21 touchdowns and just seven interceptions in 2010 completed 144-of-250 passes (57.6 percent) for 2,524 yards, 29 touchdowns and 11 interceptions as a junior coached by former Kansas City Chief Pro Bowler Tim Grunhard.
