2011•FRESHMAN SEASON:
Played in eight games with two starts under center • saw action in his first collegiate game as a true freshman at USC and responded by nearly leading the Gophers to a fourth-quarter comeback • made first career start at quarterback vs. Michigan in Week Five, which was the first time a freshman started at QB for the Gophers since 1984 • made his second start under center at Purdue in Week Six • finished season 26-of-54 for 309 yards, with two touchdowns and two interceptions.
