Matt Schilling joined the University of Minnesota staff as Director of Video Services in the summer prior to the 2011 season. He was named the 2014 Big Ten Video Coordinator of the Year and was a finalist for National Video Coordinator of the Year.
Prior to joining the Gophers, Schilling spent five seasons on the University of Nebraska football staff as an assistant video coordinator. Prior to his time at Nebraska, Schilling was the video coordinator at Ball State. He also previously served as a student video coordinator at Southern Illinois for four years, where he worked with the men's and women's basketball teams in addition to football for three seasons.
A native of Downers Grove, Ill., Schilling earned his bachelor's degree in radio/television production from Southern Illinois in 2004. Schilling and his wife, Alison, have two sons, Andrew and Mason, and a daughter, Anna.
