Ryan Maiuri is in his second year as an offensive graduate assistant in 2014. He previously worked as a program assistant for the Gophers.
Prior to arriving at Minnesota, Maiuri served as assistant coach for quarterbacks at Adrian College (Mich.), where his quarterback earned all-conference honors in 2011. Maiuri spent the previous year as tight ends coach at Winona State.
Maiuri coached defensive backs for two years at Lakeland College (Wis.), his alma mater. During 2007-08, he coached seven All-Northern Athletics Conference defensive backs and assisted the Muskies to their third conference title in four years. Lakeland was ranked third nationally in interceptions and had four other team and individual top-25 rankings in defensive categories.
Maiuri earned a degree in history (2006) and a master's in counseling (2008) from Lakeland College. He is a member of the American Football Coaches Association and the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association.
