2012 JUNIOR SEASON: Played in seven games, starting three at center (at UNLV, vs. New Hampshire and at Wisconsin) suffered a season-ending injury at Illinois, causing him to miss the final three games of the season earned his second varsity letter. Game-by-Game: Provided protection for an offense that totaled a season-high 478 yards (209 rushing, 269 passing) at UNLV helped pave the way for the Gophers to rush for a season-high 240 yards against New Hampshire part of a protection unit that allowed Minnesota to pass for 246 yards and three touchdowns vs. Purdue protected for a Minnesota offense that rushed for 231 yards at Illinois.
2011 SOPHOMORE SEASON: Saw action as a reserve in six games earned his first varsity letter. HIGH SCHOOL: Honorable mention all-state selection in 2008 named third-team all-metro and first-team All-Suburban East Conference this past season helped lead Cretin-Derham Hall to a 25-2 record over the past two seasons also helped lead Raiders to a Class 5A state semifinal berth in 2008 and a runner-up finish in 2007 served as team captain as a senior registered 110 pancake blocks in 2008 ranked as the No. 8 center in the nation by ESPN.com and Scouts, Inc. coached by Mike Scanlan.
