HIGH SCHOOL: Graduate of Bowie High School helped lead his team to a 7-4 record the Vols advanced to the first round of the state playoffs earned first-team All- District 4-5A honors as a defensive end in one of the more competitive districts in Texas named to the All-Metroplex squad named to the first-team defense on the Fort Worth Star-Telegram Super Team tallied nine sacks as a senior for Bowie recorded 6.5 sacks during his junior season coached by Tim Lins.
