Game-by-Game: Made his Minnesota debut against Oregon State • made two tackles against Indiana State • saw action against Colorado State, Penn State, Iowa and Rutgers • notched two tackles against Illinois, including a sack that resulted in the Gophers first safety since 2012 • competed against Purdue, Nebraska and Northwestern • recorded one tackle at Wisconsin and competed against Washington State.
PREVIOUS COLLEGE EXPERIENCE: Spent three seasons at Iowa Western, which included a redshirt season his first year • named NJCAA First Team All-American after recording 70 tackles and 7.5 sacks as a sophomore • also had 19 tackles-for-loss, forced one fumble and broke up one pass • as a freshman, totaled 52 tackles, 10.5 tackles-for-loss, five sacks, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and one interception • ranked as a three-star transfer prospect by ESPN, Scout and 247Sports, while Rivals game him two stars • enrolled at Minnesota in January 2016.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2013 graduate of Althoff Catholic High School in Belleville, Ill. • as a senior, notched 87 tackles, 21 tackles-for-loss and also scored two touchdowns as the Crusaders were the Class 2A state runners-up • named All-Metro • racked up 65 tackles, 13 tackles-for-loss, two sacks and two fumble recoveries as a junior.
