2012 • FRESHMAN SEASON: Played in 13 games and started against Michigan and Michigan State • played both running back, receiver and returned kickoffs • rushed 17 times for 57 yards and made 11 catches for 49 yards • averaged 22.2 yards on eight kickoff returns. HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Murphy High School • helped lead his team to a 22-12 record over the past three seasons • earned all-state honorable mention honors from the Alabama Sports Writers Association • 70-of-123 passing for 1,122 yards, 13 touchdowns and seven interceptions as a senior • rushed for 1,041 yards and eight TDs on 186 carries in 2011 • also saw time at wide receiver as a senior, snagging 10 receptions for 199 yards and three scores • missed much of junior season with injury • 74-of-143 passing for 1,126 yards and 10 touchdowns with four interceptions as a sophomore • rushed 91 times for 446 yards and four scores in 2009 • coached by Ronn Lee.
