Appeared in three games as a reserve • made five total tackles (three solo) with one forced fumble. Game-by-Game: made Gophers debut against Middle Tennessee State (9/2) in a 24-17 Minnesota win • recorded one solo tackle and one forced fumble against the Blue Raiders • tallied four total tackles (two solo, two assists) against South Dakota (9/11).

HIGH SCHOOL:
Graduate of Brother Rice High School • helped lead the Warriors to a 7-4 mark during his senior season • tallied 62 tackles, including 50 solo stops, as a senior in 2008 • also tallied two interceptions, a sack and a blocked field goal last season • earned all-area honors from the Observer & Eccentric newspapers • named honorable mention All-North by the Detroit Free Press • named all-conference • chosen for the Michigan Fab 50 • helped lead Brother Rice to a state championship and a 12-1 record as a freshman in 2005 • coached by Al Fracassa.
