2011 JUNIOR SEASON:
Appeared in all 12 games and started at outside linebacker in nine games recorded 77 tackles (34 solo, 43 assisted) had six tackles for loss including one sack forced two fumbles and recovered one broke-up two passes earned third varsity letter named Academic All-Big Ten.

2010 SOPHOMORE SEASON:
Appeared in all 12 games with 10 starts at linebacker recorded 68 total tackles (40 solo) also made 4.5 tackles for a loss broke up one pass and forced one fumble in 2010.
Game-by-Game: earned first-career start at linebacker in season-opener against Middle Tennessee State on 9/2 recorded six total tackles (five solo, one assist) in the 24-17 win over the Blue Raiders tallied six solo tackles and two assists against USC (9/11) tied with Mike Rallis for a team-high nine total tackles (six solo, three assists) against South Dakota (9/18) tallied two tackles (one solo) and broke up one pass against Northern Illinois (9/25) tallied one solo tackle against Northwestern (10/2) as a reserve recorded one tackle against Wisconsin (10/9) contributed nine tackles (five solo) against Purdue (10/16) including one tackle behind the line recorded five total tackles (four solo) against Penn State (10/23) recorded 10 tackles (six solo) against Ohio State (10/30) made five tackles (four solo) against Michigan State (11/6) including one stop behind the line made nine stops (three solo) against Illinois (11/13) including one tackle behind the line and half a sack contributed three tackles (two solo) in Minnesota's win over Iowa (11/27).
2009 FRESHMAN SEASON:
Reserve linebacker whose 43 total tackles ranked him seventh on the team produced several strong performances throughout the season saw extensive action against California and tallied six total tackles blocked a punt vs. Wisconsin registered double-digit tackles for the first time in his career, as well as his first sack and first forced fumble against Illinois also picked up his second career blocked punt late in the game against Illinois, which led to the Gophers' final touchdown earned first varsity letter named to the Big Ten All-Academic team.
