Gophers welcome back seven defensive linemen who saw action in at least nine games from last season
2015 • FRESHMAN SEASON: Played in two games • made Minnesota and collegiate debut and tallied one tackle-for-loss at Purdue • registered a tackle at Iowa.
OVERVIEW: ESPN ranked him as the No. 1 player in Montreal and as the No. 143 defensive end in his class • was a three-star recruit accoring to ESPN and Rivals • received two-star status from Scout and 247Sports, which also ranked him as the No. 1 player in Montreal and as the No. 94 weak-side defensive end.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Vanier College in Montreal, Quebec, Canada • helped lead team to a 7-4 record • recorded 35 tackles, which included 11 tackles-for-loss • notched five sacks • broke up two passes and made one interception • named defensive lineman of the year • was limited to four games during his junior season as he dealt with an injury.
