2015 • SENIOR SEASON: Played and started all 13 games • led the team with 102 tackles (59 solo), including 2.0 tackles-for-loss • picked off a pass and recovered a fumble • broke up three passes • returned one kickoff for 24 yards. Game-by-Game: Made seven tackles, broke up one pass and returned an interception 17 yards (second interception of his career) against Eastern Illinois • made one tackle against Middle Tennessee • registered two tackles, including one tackle-for-loss, at TCU • tallied one tackle against San Jose State • broke up one pass at Michigan • recorded seven tackles against Northwestern • made two tackles and broke up one pass against Purdue • tallied two tackles at Illinois • made four tackles against Iowa • tallied three tackles against Ohio State • missed Nebraska game with an injury, but saw special teams action at Wisconsin • totaled four tackles, including 1.5 tackles-for-loss, against Missouri.
2013 • SOPHOMORE SEASON: Played in 13 games and started six • fourth on the team in tackles (69) and solo tackles (45) • notched one tackle-for-loss and .5 sack • broke up three passes, made one interception and forced one fumble • returned five kicks for 143 yards • averaged 28.6 yards per kick return, with a long of 53 yards. 2012 • FRESHMAN SEASON: Played in 12 games and started vs. Texas Tech. Game-by-Game: Made his Minnesota and collegiate debut at UNLV, but did not record any statistics • saw action vs. New Hampshire and was credited with his first career tackle • played against Western Michigan and had one tackle on special teams • had one solo tackle at Wisconsin • assisted on one tackle vs. Michigan • assisted on two tackles at Nebraska • recorded one solo tackle vs. Michigan State • made six tackles and had one pass breakup vs. Texas Tech.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Shaker Heights High School • scored 23 touchdowns and rushed for 1,137 yards as a running back during his senior season • recorded 84 total tackles (51 solo, 33 assists) in 2011 • also tacked on a pair of interceptions during his senior season • coached by Jarvis Gibson.
