2011 FRESHMAN SEASON: Started first five games at right tackle, before missing the rest of season with an injury earned first varsity letter named Academic All-Big Ten. Game-by-Game: started at right tackle in season-opener at Southern California helped guide an offensive line which gained 20 first downs against the Trojans started in Week Two vs. New Mexico State helped guide an offense that recorded 399 yards of total offense in week three victory over Miami (Ohio) started at right tackle against North Dakota State started at right tackle at Michigan.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduate of Irondale High School selected to play in the U.S. Army All-American Game helped lead his team to a 6-4 record in 2009 team advanced to second round of the state playoffs first-team Associated Press All-State selection Two-time All-North Suburban Conference selection honored as North Suburban Conference Offensive Lineman of the Year in 2008 and 2009 two-time All-Metro selection second-team all-state as a junior in 2008 threw two passes last season, completing both for a total of 84 yards and a touchdown coached by Ben Geisler.
