2014 SENIOR SEASON: Played in 12 games and saw most of his action on special teams started at receiver against Missouri recorded four tackles and also scored his first career touchdown on a blocked punt Academic All-Big Ten. Game-by-Game: Returned an Eric Murray-blocked punt two yards for a touchdown (first TD of his career) against Eastern Illinois saw action on special teams against Middle Tennessee registered one tackle at TCU missed the San Jose State game with an injury played on special teams at Michigan and against Northwestern, Purdue and at Illinois played on offense and on special teams against Iowa made two tackles on special teams and lined up on offense against Ohio State competed at Nebraska and at Wisconsin started at receiver against Missouri, but did not record any stats.
2013 JUNIOR SEASON: Played in all 13 games made three catches for 31 yards also recorded a catch for a successful 2-point conversion made four solo tackles on special teams. Game-by-Game: Saw action against UNLV, catching one pass for 5 yards made his first career start at New Mexico State and made two catches for 26 yards only catch against Western Illinois was on a succesful two-point converion notched two tackles against Western Illinois saw action against San Jose State, at Michigan, against Nebraska and at Indiana, but did not record any statistics made one tackle on special teams against Penn State and Wisconsin competed at Michigan State and against Syracuse.
2012 SOPHOMORE SEASON: Played in four games made his Minnesota and collegiate debut against New Hampshire where he caught one ball for 7 yards also saw action against Western Michigan, Syracuse and Texas Tech, but did not record any statistics.
2011 FRESHMAN SEASON: Did not see action.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2010 graduate of La Marque High School earned first-team All District 4A-24 honors earned first-team all-district honors as both a wide receiver and as a punter caught 35 balls for 375 yards and three touchdowns as a senior in 2009 averaged more than 40 yards per punt in 2009 turned in a six-reception, 115-yard performance vs. North Shore in 2009 caught 21 passes for 290 yards and two scores as a junior in 2008 coached by Darrell Jordan.
PERSONAL: Born May 12, 1992 son of Lee and Dianne Hutton brother of former Gopher Lee Hutton, who is now a Minneapolis attorney graduated with a degree in biology, society and environment pursuing a master's degree in security technologies.
