The Gophers totaled 282 Academic All-Big Ten honorees for the 2015-16 academic year.

Gophers welcome newest class of football players

2013 • FRESHMAN SEASON: Did not see any game action.

2012: Redshirted • moved from defensive back to wide receiver prior to 2013 spring practice.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Germantown High School • helped lead Warhawks to a 7-3 mark as a senior • grabbed 31 receptions for 728 yards (23.5 yards per reception) and nine touchdowns as a senior • tallied 63 tackles, five tackles for loss and three interceptions as a senior • served as a team captain for 2011 • named all-state honorable mention, first-team all-conference, first-team all-region, all-county and all-area following the 2011 season • recorded 84 tackles with six interceptions during his junior season • earned all-conference accolades in 2010 • also a standout track athlete, qualifying for the state track championships in the 110-meter hurdles, the 300-meter hurdles and the 800-meter relay • holds school records for both the 110- and 300-meter hurdles • coached by Jake Davis.
