JUNIOR COLLEGE: Played as a freshman at Coffeyville Community College in Coffeyville, Kan., in 2012 • played in seven games and recorded 12 tackles and one sack.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2012 graduate from Miami Central High School • was rated as the No. 4 defensive tackle in Florida • helped lead his team to a 13-1 record and a runner-up finish in the Florida Class 6A State Championship game • selected to take part in the Nike South Florida All-Star Game • earned second-team Associated Press Class 6A All-State honors following his senior campaign • coached by Telley Lockett.

PERSONAL: Born Jan. 22, 1993 • son of Norton and Jeanette Hinojosa • has yet to declare a major.
