Coach Kill Pre-Spring Press Conference Transcript - 3.21.12
Coach Kill addressed the Twin Cities media Wednesday afternoon, on the eve of the first 2012 spring practice.
2014 JUNIOR SEASON: Missed the season with an injury.
2013 SOPHOMORE SEASON: Played in 11 games, missing the Northwestern and Nebraska games. Game-by-Game: Saw action against UNLV played on special teams at New Mexico State, against Western Illinois, San Jose State, Iowa and at Michigan competed at Indiana and against Penn State returned one kickoff 8 yards and fair caught another against Wisconsin saw action at Michigan State and against Syracuse.
2012 FRESHMAN SEASON: Played in one game, as he made his Minnesota and collegiate debut at Iowa.
2011: Redshirted.
HIGH SCHOOL: Helped lead team to a 9-2 record in 2010 Lumberjacks advanced to the quarterfinals of the Class 4A state playoffs second-team all-state honors from the Associated Press as a senior, he recorded 134 tackles, three sacks, nine tackles for loss, three forced fumbles and a fumble recovery led the state in tackles as a junior, recording 179 total stops helped lead his team to the Class 4A quarterfinals in 2009 coached by Troy Hendricks.
PERSONAL: Born Dec. 8, 1992 son of Ernest and Shannon Heifort sister, Allie, is a member of the women's track team.
