HIGH SCHOOL: Attends East Ridge High School in Woodbury, Minn. • wore No. 80 for the Raptors and was a team captain his senior season • as a senior, made six field goals and 36 point after attempts • made kicks of 55 and 52 yards • notched 37 touchbacks (82%) and averaged 39.4 yards per punt • named 2016 KARE 11 All-Metro Offense, All-State First Team and Star Tribune All-Metro First Team • was a four-year starter at kicker and punter and scored 212 points • made 161 point after attempts, which included 62 consecutive from 2014-2016 • kicked 17 career field goals and recorded 140 touchbacks (65%) • averaged 37.5 yards per punt • Eastbay You All-American in 2013 and 2014 • ranked as the No. 4 kicker in the nation by Chris Sailer Kicking and is the No. 5 kicker/punter combo in the country by National Camp Series • a three-star recruit by Scout and ESPN and a two-star prospect according to Rivals and 247 Sports • Scout listed him as the No. 1 kicker in Minnesota, the No. 2 kicker in the Midwest and the No. 7 kicker in the nation • ESPN ranked him the No. 4 recruit in Minnesota, while 247 Sports listed him as the No. 5 kicker in his class and as the No. 9 prospect in Minnesota • coached by Dan Fritze • also lettered in baseball and basketball.

PERSONAL: Born November 14, 1998 • son of Mac and Mary Ryerse • has two brothers (Adam and Luke) • winner of 2016 Minnesota State High School League - ExCEL Award (Excellence in Community, Education and Leadership) • had a 4.13 GPA and was named 2016 Academic All-State by Minnesota Football Coaches Association • was the Mentor of the Year at the East Ridge Athletic Association • raised more than $5,000 for Kicking Against Cancer to benefit cancer research and education.
