OVERVIEW: Signed National Letter of Intent during the December signing period • enrolled and started classes in January • will participate in spring practice • earned a three-star rating from Rivals.com • listed as a two-star prospect by Scout.com • played in the Wing T in high school, while adjusting to a spread offense in junior college • is a good runner, but understands the need for and has the ability to pick up blitzes and protect the quarterback • is solid between the tackles, but will bounce it outside on occasion • has a knack for making defenders miss • known for his toughness • gives great effort consistently.

JUNIOR COLLEGE: Transferred from Mississippi Gulf Coast Junior College • named a team captain for the Bulldogs for the 2011 season • ranked 12th in the nation in rushing as a sophomore and eighth as a freshman • rushed for 1,042 yards (4.6 yards per carry) and nine touchdowns in 2011 • recorded 1,297 yards (5.5 ypc) and 16 scores in 2010 • helped lead team to a 10-2 mark in 2011, including a division championship and a victory in the Mississippi Bowl • coached by Steve Campbell.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduate of Pearl River High School • earned all-state honors as a senior • three-time all-metro honoree by the New Orleans Times-Picayune • three-time all-district selection • rushed for 1,787 yards as a senior • ran for more than 1,400 yards and 20 scores in 2008 • led the State of Louisiana with 2,213 yards and 24 scores as a sophomore • coached by Joe Harris.
