Drew Moulton joined the Minnesota football staff in February 2017 as an offensive graduate assistant.
Moulton comes to Minnesota after spending the past season working in quality contral at Eastern Michigan. In his one season at Eastern Michigan, the Eagles had the No. 2 passing offense in the Mid-American Conference, improved their record from 1-11 to 7-6 and earned a bowl bid for the first time since 1987.
In 2015, Moulton coached wide receivers at Southwest Minnesota State University. The Mustangs completed 284 passes for 3,175 yards and 28 touchdowns that year. Moulton's receivers caught 204 passes (71.8%) for 2,365 yards (74.4%) and 19 touchdowns (67.8%) in his one season coaching them.
Moulton is familiar with the Big Ten as he played receiver and was a member of the special teams unit at Northwestern. He graduated from Northwestern in 2013 with a degree in communication studies.
