HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Marshall High School • three-year letterwinner played both receiver and defensive back for the Tigers • recorded 23 catches for 350 yards and five touchdowns, while contributing 51 yards rushing on three carries during senior season • tallied 18 tackles, two passes defended and one interception • named Associated Press First Team All-State • secured 19 catches for 466 yards and six scores during junior campaign • added five kick returns for 188 yards with a long of 90 yards • as a sophomore, caught 25 passes for 402 yards and two touchdowns, while adding 49 yards rushing • notched 13 tackles and two interceptions during first year on varsity • coached by Terry Bahlmann • also lettered in baseball and basketball • ranked as a three-star prospect by ESPN, Scout and 247Sports and a two-star prospect by Rivals • 247Sports rated him as the No. 9 prospect in the state, while ESPN and Rivals had him at No. 15 in Minnesota • 247Sports put him as the No. 1 wide receiver in the state, with Rivals and Scout rating him as the No. 2 pass catcher from Minnesota • Scout ranked him as the No. 9 wideout in the Midwest and No. 69 in the nation at his position.
PERSONAL: Born October 28, 1997 • son of Chris and Mary Jo Hmielewski • has one brother (Matt) and one sister (Ashtin) • uncle, Jim Hmielewski, was a Third-Team All-American tackle at Kansas State and was a member of the Dallas Cowboys.

Gophers Will Host Indiana On Oct. 26, 2018
Minnesota will welcome Indiana to TCF Bank Stadium for the first time ever in 2018. The Big Ten Conference announced today that the game will now be played on Friday, Oct. 26, 2018.
