The Gophers will bring back six wide receivers who lettered in 2013

OVERVIEW: Received three-star status from ESPN, Rivals and Scout and two stars from 247Sports • ESPN listed him as the No. 83 player in Ohio and as the No. 192 wide receiver in his class • Scout named him the 135th wide receiver in the nation and 247Sports ranked him as the No. 108 player in Ohio.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Mentor High School • led team to a 13-2 record and a spot in the Division I state championship game • moved from wide receiver to quarterback for his senior year and passed for 3,230 yards and 32 touchdowns • set a Division I state title game record with 419 passing yards • also rushed for 1,455 yards and 23 touchdowns on the season • received the Tony Fisher Award as the News-Herald's Player of the Year and was also a Mr. Football finalist • earned cleveland.com's Offensive Player of the Year honors and First-Team All-Ohio honors • caught 71 passes for 985 yards and 10 touchdowns as a junior • made 26 catches for 401 yards and nine touchdowns as a sophomore • member of the 2012 Division I state championship Mentor basketball team • football coach was Steve Trivisonno.
