2013 • JUNIOR SEASON: Led team in rushing with 1,202 yards (12th all-time in program history and 27th in the nation last season) on 237 carries (10th all-time in program history and 18th in the nation last season) as he became the first Gopher to rush for more than 1,000 yards since Amir Pinnix in 2006 (1,272 yards) • tied for team lead in touchdowns with seven (all rushing) • finished season with 1,376 all-purpose yards (1,202 rushing and 174 receiving), which is the most for a Gopher since 2009 (most for a running back since 2006) and is tied for 16th all-time in program history • had six 100-yard rushing games (team was 5-1), which was the most by a Gopher since Laurence Maroney had eight in 2005 • had five 100-yard Big Ten rushing games, which was the most by a Gopher since Marion Barber III also had five in 2003 • rushed for more than 100 yards in wins against Northwestern, Nebraska, Indiana and Penn State to become the fourth Gopher back in the modern era to rush for more than 100 yards in four straight league games, joining Tellis Redmon in 2000, Thomas Hamner in 1999 (did it five straight Big Ten games) and Paul Giel in 1951 • third on team in receptions (17) and fourth in receiving yards (174) • led team with nine plays of 25 yards or more (seven rushing, two receiving) • received the Bruce Smith Award, as the team's most outstanding offensive player • honored with the Gary Tinsley Award for best embracing the underdog persona of Gary Tinsley and was also named the team's offensive back of the year. Game-by-Game: Rushed six times for 69 yards against UNLV, which included a career-long 60-yard scamper • rushed nine times for 56 yards and scored his first career touchdown at New Mexico State • scored two touchdowns while rushing 13 times for 82 yards against Western Illinois • caught one pass against Western Illinois for 10 yards and led the Gophers with 92 all-purpose yards • rushed 25 times for 125 yards and two touchdowns against San Jose State • rushed eight times for 20 yards in a reserve role against Iowa and rushed seven times for 22 yards at Michigan • carried the ball 20 times for 103 yards at Northwestern and also caught one pass for 21 yards • rushed 31 times (most for a Gopher running back since Amir Pinnix had 34 rushes against Texas Tech in 2006) for 138 yards against Nebraska • became first Gopher running back to rush for consecutive 100-yard games (at Northwestern, vs. Nebraska) since Pinnix in 2006 (113 yards at Michigan State and 119 yards against Iowa) • scored one touchdown and totaled 236 all-purpose yards at Indiana (career high 188 rushing, 48 receiving), which tied him for 24th all-time by a Gopher (most since Troy Stoudermire's 240 yards against Michigan State in 2009) • rushed 27 times for 139 yards and one touchdown against Penn State • totaled 82 yards (68 rushing, 14 receiving) against Wisconsin • carried the ball 27 times for 101 yards against the nation's then-No. 1 defense at Michigan State • totaled 103 yards (91 rushing, 12 receiving) against Syracuse.

2012 • SOPHOMORE SEASON: Played in five games • rushed one time at Iowa for eight yards and also caught one pass for three yards for his only stats of the season.

2011 • FRESHMAN SEASON: Played in three games • tallied 10 carries for 57 yards.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2011 graduate of Ellison High School • named All District 12-5A following his senior season • was a three-year starter for the Eagles • rushed for nearly 3,000 yards in his high school career, going for 2,946 yards and 35 touchdowns • ran for nearly 1,400 yards with 17 touchdowns as a senior • had back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons, rushing for 1,209 yards and 14 TDs as a junior • coached by Buddy McBryde.
