OVERVIEW: Rivals.com lists him as a two-star recruit and as the sixth best prospect in Minnesota Scout.com tabs him as a three-star recruit and as the 97th best player at his position ESPN ranks him as the 130th best outside linebacker in the nation and the fifth best prospect in Minnesota.
ESPN ANALYSIS: Active run stopper good wrap tackler attacking linebacker, capable of moving through traffic and filling gaps from inside out good underneath route awareness with eyes on the quarterback effective bringing pressure up the middle and off the edge.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attends Wayzata High School helped lead the Trojans to a 10-2-0 record as a senior missed part of his senior season with an injury tallied 57 tackles (25 solo) and six tackles-for-loss recorded one sack and forced three fumbles was named First-Team All-State recorded 82 tackles (52 solo) in 13 games as a junior named All-Conference and was All-State Honorable Mention registered 18 tackles and four sacks made two interceptions and forced four fumbles broke up four passes and deflected four passes played in nine games as a sophomore and made 35 tackles (22 solo) also forced one fumble and had four tackles-for-loss coached by Brad Anderson.
