2014 • FRESHMAN SEASON: Rushed five times for 21 yards and completed his only pass for 12 yards as he made his Minnesota and collegiate debut against Eastern Illinois • rushed one time for two yards against Middle Tennessee • tossed his first career touchdown (12-yard pass to Maxx Williams) and rushed seven times for 33 yards at TCU • made his first career start against San Jose State and rushed 18 times for 161 yards (third most ever by a Gopher quarterback) and one touchdown.
