2012 SOPHOMORE SEASON: Played in all 13 games, starting the final 11 at right guard earned first varsity letter. Game-by-Game: Made his season debut in a reserve role at UNLV and helped protect for an offense that totaled a season-high 478 yards (209 rushing, 269 passing) helped pave the way for the Gophers to rush for a season-high 240 yards against New Hampshire protected for an offense that passed for a 246 yards and three touchdowns vs. Purdue blocked for Minnesota's offense as it rushed for 231 yards at Illinois started vs. Texas Tech as Minnesota gained 222 yards on the ground.
2011 FRESHMAN SEASON: Played in five games and started last four appeared in his first college game in Week Eight against Iowa started his first career game at Michigan State in Week Nine earned first varsity letter. HIGH SCHOOL: Earned All-Tri Metro Conference honors as a junior and senior named All-Metro by the Minneapolis Star Tribune in 2009 honorable mention Associated Press all-state selection following last season tallied 71 total tackles, including 31 solo stops, as a senior registered eight tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks and two fumble recoveries in 2009 made 72 tackles, four sacks and recovered one fumble in 2008 coached by Brian Brown.
