Two Gophers honored by league coaches, media
Junior quarterback MarQueis Gray honored as team MVP.

2011 SENIOR SEASON:
Started all 12 games started the first five games at left guard before moving to right tackle started his 40th career game as a Gopher vs. Illinois, the final game of his collegiate career earned fourth varsity letter.

Started all 12 games this season at left guard earned third varsity letter.
Game-by-Game: Earned the start in the season-opening, 24-17 win at Middle Tennessee State (9/2) offense accounted for school record 45:34 of possession time, accounted for 27 first downs and 281 rushing yards vs. Blue Raiders started in losses to South Dakota (9/11), Southern California (9/18), Northern Illinois (9/25), Northwestern (10/2), Wisconsin (10/9), Purdue (10/16), Penn State (10/23), Ohio State (10/30) and Michigan State (11/6) started in the 38-34 win at Illinois (11/13) to snap 9-game losing streak started in 27-24 win over Iowa (11/21) as team rushed for 216 yards and three touchdowns.
2009 SOPHOMORE SEASON:
Started all 13 games at right guard earned second varsity letter.

A 2007 graduate of Osseo High School (Minn.) high school coach was Derrin Lamker three-star recruit ranked as the 49th-best offensive guard in the nation and the ninth-best player in Minnesota by Rivals ranked the 89th-best offensive guard in the nation by Scout named to the PrepStar Midwest Region Team named to recruiting expert Tom Lemming's All-Midwest Team was a 2006 first team Associated Press All-State selection also played pitcher, first baseman and designated hitter on the baseball team in high school.
