A 2009 graduate of De La Salle High School (Minn.) earned 13 varsity letters (5 basketball, 4 football, 2 track and field, 1 golf, 1 baseball) during his career at De La Salle four-time all-conference selection on the gridiron two-time all-metro and all-state selection also a two-time honorable mention all-state performer hauled in 45 receptions for 795 yards and 14 touchdowns as a senior holds state career records for receiving yardage (4,018) and receiving touchdowns (50) led his team to section championships as a junior and senior, while finishing as the state runner-up each season.
