One senior and eight underclassmen highlight group of tight ends, while two veterans form fullback pairing

2015 • SOPHOMORE SEASON: Missed most of the seasaon with an injury • did not see any game action • has two seasons of competition remaining and two years in which to use those seasons (2016-17 and 2017-18).

2014: 
Suffered a knee injury in fall camp and missed the entire season • granted a sixth year of eligibility.

2013 • FRESHMAN SEASON: Made his Minnesota and collegiate debut against Western Illinois where he played on special teams.

2012: Missed the entire season due to a knee injury.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Blaine High School • helped lead team to an 8-3 record as a senior • Blaine advanced to section championship game in 2011 • earned Honorable Mention All-State honors at the All-Purpose position • completed 101-of-174 passes for 926 yards with 5 touchdowns and 10 interceptions as a senior • rushed for 1,130 yards on 199 carries with 18 touchdowns in 2011 • coached by Shannon Gerrety.

PERSONAL: Born Sept. 21, 1994 • son of Maryanne Anwanyu has already earned his degree in sport management • working on his master of education degree in sport management.
