Gopher men's basketball, under first-year head coach Richard Pitino, put the wraps on one of the most successful seasons in school history. Setting a new school record with 25 victories, including wins over top-25 opponents Ohio State, Wisconsin and Iowa at Williams Arena, the Gophers captured the 2014 NIT title at Madison Square Garden. GopherSports.com will take a look back each day with the top 10 moments from the 2013-14 season.

#8:  Mo Walker Scores 10 Straight Points vs. Wisconsin

A frenzied, sellout crowd at the Barn greeted the rival Badgers on January 22, and the Gophers looked to be in trouble just 16 seconds in when leading scorer Andre Hollins left the game with a severe ankle injury. Needing someone to step up, the Gophers found a spark in 6'10" junior forward Maurice Walker.

Walker helped steady the ship with a breakout performance midway through the first half, scoring 10 straight points for the Gophers to stake their lead at 21-15 with less than 10 minutes expired. Walker ended up with a career-high 18 points, helping lead Minnesota past ninth-ranked Wisconsin, 81-68, in the Gophers' biggest statement win of the season.
