Fans interested in attending the 2009 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball First and Second Rounds at the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome in Minneapolis can now apply for tickets online at www.ncaa.com/tickets, the NCAA announced.

The NCAA online ticket application website experienced technical issues and was unable to function as intended on the original launch date back in March but is now up and running.

The University of Minnesota will host the first- and second-round games at the Metrodome on Friday, March 20, and Sunday, March 22, 2009.

Ticket packages for the Minneapolis site are priced at $183 and $138 and include a $10 service charge. Both ticket packages include four games in two sessions on March 20, 2009, and two games in on session on March 22, 2009.

All ticket requests will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis and are expected to be mailed to applicants no later than Jan. 31, 2009.

The 65-team field for the 2009 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship, including the eight teams to be featured at the Minneapolis site, will be announced on Sunday, March, 15, 2009, live on CBS at 5 p.m. (CT).
