The Big Ten Network today announced that the season finale of Minnesota Basketball: The Journey will debut at 8 PM CT on Tuesday, April 1 on the Big Ten Network. The one-hour show take viewers behind the scenes as the Gophers’ season heats up through the final weeks of the season - including their memorable run to the Big Ten Tournament semifinals - highlighted by Blake Hoffarber's buzzer-beater to defeat Indiana.
The episode will also look back at some of the memorable moments from the entire season, both on and off the court, as Coach Tubby Smith led the Gophers to an 11-game improvement during his first season.

The Gophers wrapped up the regular season with a loss to the University of Maryland on Mar. 18 in the first round of the National Invitational Tournament. This was the first post-season appearance for the Gophers since making the 2006 NIT Tournament.
The Gophers finished 20-14 on the season, an 11-game change in the win column from the 2006-07 season which is the largest season turnaround in school history and is tied for the second-best turnaround in Division I this season. Also, with eight wins in conference play, the Gophers tied Purdue for the biggest conference turnaround.
