• Minnesota will welcome the top ranked team in the country to Williams Arena on Feb. 26,  when the Indiana Hoosiers travel to the Twin Cities. Indiana defeated Minnesota 88-81 on Jan. 12 in Bloomington.
• The Gophers will be facing the No. 1 ranked team in the country for just the second time under Tubby Smith & first time since the 2010-11 season (Ohio State). Minnesota is 3-18 all-time against the top ranked team in the country. The Gophers' wins came against Illinois (Jan. 26, 1989), Indiana (Mar. 7, 1953) and Kentucky (Dec. 13, 1951).
• The Gophers head into the game against the No. 1 Hoosiers with four wins on the season over top 20 teams - No. 19/17 Memphis, No. 18/18 Michigan State, No. 12/13 Illinois & No. 20/19 Wisconsin.  
Rodney Williams grabbed five rebounds against Wisconsin on Feb. 14 to go over 500 in his career. He became the 19th player in Gopher history to amass at least 1,000 career points & 500 career rebounds. He will head into Tuesday's matchup with career numbers of 1,096 points & 505 rebounds.
• Dre Hollins is averaging a team and career-high 13.6 ppg this season, 12th-most in the Big Ten Conference. He is ninth in scoring in conference games with an average of 14.1 ppg. He has led the team in scoring nine times this season, including a career-high 41 against Memphis. He scored a game-high 21 points against Wisconsin on Feb. 14, his seventh game this season with 20 or more points.
Trevor Mbakwe currently sits atop the Big Ten Conference in rebounding with an overall average of 8.5 rpg and also is tops during Big Ten play with a 9.7 rpg average. He has contributed eight double-doubles on the season and has 31 for his career. He collected a career-high 18 boards earlier this season against North Dakota State. Mbakwe also led the B1G Conference in rebounding as a junior (2010-11).
