Minnesota travels to Columbus, Ohio to face the Ohio State Buckeyes in what will be the only matchup of the regular season between the two programs.
The Gophers have not visited Value City Arena since Jan. 9, 2011. Minnesota lost that game by three, 67-64. Trevor Mbakwe finished with 16 points & 12 rebounds in the loss.

Rodney Williams grabbed five rebounds against Wisconsin on Feb. 14 to go over 500 in his career. He became the 19th player in Gopher history to amass at least 1,000 career points & 500 career rebounds. He will head into Columbus with career numbers of 1,096 points & 505 rebounds.
Dre Hollins is averaging a team and career-high 13.7 ppg this season, 12th-most in the Big Ten Conference. He is eighth in scoring in conference games with an average of 14.4 ppg. He has led the team in scoring eight times this season, including a career-high 41 against Memphis. He scored a game-high 21 points against Wisconsin on Feb. 14, his seventh game this season with 20 or more points.
Trevor Mbakwe is averaging a double-double of 10.4 points and 10.1 rebounds per game over the Gophers' last 15 games. He currently sits atop the Big Ten Conference in rebounding with an overall average of 8.7 rpg and also is tops during Big Ten play with a 10.0 rpg average.
Mbakwe also led the conference in rebounding as a junior (2010-11). He has contributed eight double-doubles on the season and has 31 for his career. He collected a career-high 18 boards earlier this season against North Dakota State . The St. Paul, Minn. native has contributed double-figure rebound games 13 times this season and 37 times in his Gopher career (64 games).
