Have you ever dreamed about having a conversation with Golden Gopher head basketball coach Tubby Smith or wanted the opportunity to get the autograph of your favorite Gopher player? Now your dream can come true. Tickets are now available for the 2013 Golden Gopher Men's Basketball Banquet that will be held on Sunday, March 10.
The event, hosted by the booster club of Golden Gopher Basketball - the Golden Dunkers - is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. at TCF Bank Stadium's DQ Club Room. Cost of the ticket is $60 and can be obtained by registering online at www.GoldenGopherFund.com. The deadline for registration is Monday, March 4 at 5:00 p.m. CT.
The cost of the tickets includes: a social hour, dinner and an awards ceremony. The ceremony will include presentations of letter jackets to the players that are new to the "M" Club, remarks from Coach Smith and Gopher seniors, and the opportunity to see the first showing of the 2012-13 Gopher Basketball highlight video.
