The BTN announced today that Minnesota’s matchup at Indiana on Jan. 12 in Bloomington was the highest-rated regular-season basketball game in its history, according to Nielsen metered market data. The game earned a program average household rating of 2.08 across the network’s eight metered markets - Chicago, Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton, Detroit, Indianapolis, Milwaukee, and Minneapolis.

Saturday’s game also was the top-rated cable program of the day in both the Indianapolis and Minneapolis markets, according to Nielsen.

Minnesota, ranked No. 9 in the most recent AP Poll, will be back in action at Williams Arena on Thursday, Jan. 17 to face the fifth-ranked Michigan Wolverines. The game is scheduled to tip at 6:00 p.m. CT.
