UPDATE: ALL PUBLIC TICKETS (OBSTRUCTED AND NON-OBSTRUCTED VIEW) TICKETS ARE SOLD OUT
All seats are sold out for this Thursday's marquee matchup between the No. 9/12 Golden Gophers (15-2, 3-1 Big Ten) and No. 5/5 Michigan (16-1, 3-1 Big Ten). Fans are encouraged to arrive early, as parking spaces will be in high demand. Parking lots will open at 3:30 p.m., and the Williams Arena doors will open at 5 p.m. for the 6 p.m. game.
This is Minnesota and Michigan's first meeting since 1997 in which both teams have been ranked. It is also the first meeting of two top-10 teams at the Barn since the No. 5 Wolverines visited the No. 10 Gophers in 1977. The Gophers and Wolverines last faced each other in the 2012 Big Ten Tournament quarterfinals. Then-freshman point guards Andre Hollins (21 points for Minnesota) and Trey Burke (30 points for Michigan) went head-to-head as Michigan pulled out a 73-69 win in overtime.
This will be Minnesota's third sellout of the season, as wins against Lafayette (Dec. 22) and Michigan State (Dec. 31) drew capacity crowds of 14,625 each.
Tickets for future Gopher games can be purchased online here, or by calling 612-624-8080 or 1-800-U-GOPHER.
