The entire Gopher men's basketball team took time out of their evenings on Dec. 20 to help 20 local families, chosen by East Side Neighborhood Services of Minneapolis, with some holiday shopping at a local Target store in Minneapolis.

The shopping trip was a part of the Tubby Smith Foundation's "10 Days of Holiday Giving" effort in 2012. Coach Smith and the Tubby Smith Foundation makes sure that giving back during the holiday season becomes a priority. To read more about "Ten Days of Holiday Giving" click here.
