Attended Hargrave Military Academy (Chatham, Va.) during the 2011-12 school year • previously graduated from Martin High School (Arlington, Texas) with a 3.7 GPA • Hargrave finished the 2011-12 season as the national runner-up with a 38-1 record • Buggs scored 15 points in the championship game • averaged 11.4 points in 15 games as a senior at Martin • averaged 18.9 points and 6.3 rebounds as a member of the Triumph White AAU team in summer 2011 • National Spanish Honor Society member • Principal's Award recipient.
