Bryan Bender enters his seventh season with the Gopher Basketball Program and second season as the video coordinator. Bender spent four seasons with the program as a student manager, including his final two seasons as the head student manager and film exchange coordinator. Bender spent the 2009-10 season as a Graduate Manager.

Bender graduated with a B.S. in Sports Management from the University of Minnesota in 2008 and added a M.Ed. in Applied Kinesiology with a Sport Management and Coaching Emphasis in 2010. Bender is a native of Cambridge, Wisconsin and plays a pivotal role within the gopher Program including; film exchange, overseeing the student managers and performs all video duties.

Bender gained additional experience while serving on the support staff or the 2008 USA Basketball U18 Junior National team and also acts as the Assistant Director of Tubby Smith Basketball Camps.
