As the fall practice season continues, Gopher Baseball can announce dates for six open scrimmages over the next three weeks.
Minnesota will welcome fans and friends to attend scrimmages this Thursday and Friday, Sept. 28-29 at 3:45 p.m. each day. The following Friday, Oct. 6 the Gophers will hold another scrimmage at 3:45 p.m. with regional professional scouts in attendance for the team’s annual Scout Day. On Saturday, Oct. 7 the team will welcome parents and family to Parents Day at Siebert Field with a scrimmage at 11:30 a.m. The fall season will wrap up with another pair of Thursday and Friday dates the following week, Oct. 12-13 at 3:45 p.m.
With the several members of the team banged up and recovering from the summer season, the annual Steak ’n’ Beans fall series is off for 2017 with these open scrimmages. The Maroon & Gold will officially open the season in February. Keep an eye on this space for the official announcement of the Gophers’ 2018 schedule in the weeks to come.
