Minor Leagues

  • Austin Athmann (Connecticut Tigers) went 3-5 with two RBIs and two runs scored in Monday's game.
  • Matt Fiedler (Johnson City Cardinals) is sitting on a ten-game on-base streak and a four-game hitting streak. He went 3-4 with two RBIs in Tuesday's game.
  • Jordan Jess (Bristol Pirates) hasn't allowed a run in his last three appearances. He is now 2-0 with a 1.00 ERA, two saves and 11 strikeouts.
  • Ben Meyer (Greensboro Grasshoppers) picked up his third win on Sunday in two innings of relief and struck out two batters.
  • Dalton Sawyer (Vermont Lake Monsters) has allowed only two runs in his six appearances. He boasts a 2.35 ERA with one save and nine strikeouts.
  • DJ Snelten (San Jose Giants) appeared in three games last week where allowed two runs and struck out three batters.
  • Tom Windle (Golf Coast League Phillies) had four strikeouts in three appearances last week where he didn't allow a run.
Northwoods League
  • Fred Manke (Duluth Huskies) will be joining the Huskies after the All-Star break.
  • Ben Mezzenga (Eau Claire Express) appeared in his first Northwoods League All-Star Game where he went 0-3. He went 3-4 with two RBIs and one run scored in Sunday's game.
  • Nick Lackney (Lakeshore Chinooks) picked up his first win of the summer on Saturday where he pitched four innings of relief and struck out three batters.
  • Jordan Kozicky (Mankato MoonDogs) appeared in his first Northwoods League All-Star Game where he went 0-2. 
  • Brian Glowicki (St. Cloud Rox) made two appearances out of the bullpen in the last week. He only allowed two hits and recorded two strikeouts.
  • Alex Boxwell (Waterloo Bucks) is currently on a three-game hitting streak. He has picked up two RBIs in his last two games.
  • Tyler Hanson (Willmar Stingers) set a personal summer high in strikeouts when he struck out nine batters in six innings during Sunday's game. 
  • Eddie Estrada (Willmar Stingers) is on a four-game hitting streak and an 11-game on-base streak. 
  • Reggie Meyer (Wisconsin Woodchucks) struck out two batters in 4.2 innings when he made the start on Saturday.
