The University of Minnesota Baseball program has announced the launch of a new fall instructional camp beginning in September of 2014. The Dick Siebert Fall Instructional Camp will feature eight elite travel programs from around the Midwest competing in a four-week, eight-game schedule that begins on Sept. 6 and runs through Oct. 5. Enrollment is open to any and all teams but is limited on a first come, first served basis to insure a good camper-to-coach ratio and to protect the quality of the experience. Age groups of participants can range from freshmen to seniors in high school. The University of Minnesota baseball coaching staff will be on hand for each of the 32 games on schedule to provide insight, feedback, video analysis and first-hand instruction to camp participants. Each and every game will take place at one of college baseball's most luxurious of venues in the new Siebert Field. With the addition of a new premium lighting system, which will return night games to Siebert Field, the league will provide the opportunity for amateur baseball players in the state of Minnesota to continue to grow and flourish.
Travel teams and organizations interested in joining in the Dick Siebert Fall Baseball League should contact Assistant Coach Patrick Casey at firstname.lastname@example.org.
