The University of Minnesota baseball team will play against Augsburg on Tuesday and Concordia-Moorhead on Wednesday, both at 6:35 p.m. at Siebert Field.
Gopher All-Access will carry live video of both games.
Notes:
-The Gophers have faced Augsburg once this season, winning 1-0 on April 2. Connor Schaefbauer tripled and scored the lone run of the game, while three Gophers freshman pitchers--Cody Campbell, Toby Anderson and Brian Glowicki--combined for a shutout.
-If the schedule unfolds as planned, Minnesota will have played eight games in nine days ending on Sunday, May 11. The Gophers played a doubleheader at Florida State on Saturday and concluded the series Sunday. After two midweek contests, they will host a three-game series against Purdue.
-Augsburg split a doubleheader against Macalaster on Monday. On Sunday, the Auggies hosted a Strike Out Cancer game raising money toward Gopher pitching coach Todd Oakes' Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Man of the Year campaign.
-Concordia concluded its regular conference season with a doubleheader split against Bethel on Monday.
Up next:
The Gophers' series against Purdue May 9-11 will be their final home series of the season, and their second to last Big Ten series.
